  • how many emitters can I run on one pump? I laid out system, 4 branch runs off main run Knowing pumping, I ran main truck with caps at both ends to pressurize main, then each of the 4 branches are run off main with tees and capped at ends. no emitters are taken of near the end of lines to keep system presuure even, yet not all emitters have even flow, that is why i ask "how many emitters can this pump handle. (18) now. Thank You
Hello Al, The number of emitters that will work with the Eco 633 pump will vary with several factors. First what is the length and diameter of the manifold tubing? Second what kind of emitters (drip, basket, misting?) What is the diameter and length of the take-offs from the manifold to the emitters? Also what is the head or the height the water must pump up? If you will answer those questions I can give you a much better estimation of the potential number of emitters that will work in your design. An easier fix to the problem however can be achieved by using a relatively inexpensive part (called a drip compensator) in-between the manifold and the emitters – Part # 708625, 708630, or 708635. These items regulate the flow of water with a range of water pressures only allowing a predetermined amount out in a given time period. If you have any other questions please just let me know. Have a great day!
