In store pickup only! An important part of growing healthy plants is proper pH.  To grow the most vigorous plants maintain a slightly acidic pH in your choice of growing media.  Most specialists recommend that the pH for most crops fall between 5.5 and 6.5. 

pH Up is formulated using food grade (the best quality available) Potassium Hydroxide and is safe to use for all food crops.  It is also highly concentrated so you do not need to use as much as other brands.

It is best to allow some movement within the ideal range of pH because plants absorb different nutrients more efficiently at different pH levels.  In hydroponics the ideal pH range for most crops is 5.5-6.2.  For soils the ideal pH range for most crops is 6.2-6.6.  The pH of any fertilizer solution should be monitored daily and adjusted whenever it is outside of the ideal range.

Users of quality nutrient products generally do not experience extreme swings in the nutrient solution pH because many formulas are pH buffered. However, some important exceptions do exist. Acid content can reach unacceptable levels when nutrient solutions are mixed with poor quality water or media with an unstable pH, such as rock wool or gravel products, and when high plant growth rates destabilize the nutrient mix due to rapid nutrient absorption by the crop.
