This 5 gallon glass carboy is ideal for secondary fermentation of a 5 gallon batch of beer. It's non-porous surface makes it easily clean and sanitize. Glass fermenters are preferred to plastic because the plastic is easily scratched and can harbor bacteria that is difficult to remove, and as an added bonus, you'll always be able to see what is happening inside during the fermentation process.
